Skyrim - Diplomatic Immunity - Pt 1 - Ep 35

This is my 35th Skyrim let's play video. I never thought I'd be doing a series this long when I started!

I really enjoy making these videos and plan to continue right until I at least beat the main quest... then I plan to continue exploring and helping the great folks in Skyrim.

In this episode I am to somehow get into the Thalmor Embassy and find out what they may be up too. Luckliy Dephine has a contact on the inside that can help us.

Once I am in the embassy I discover a guy that is piss loaded and would love to help me by causing a scene... This is my perfect chance to get by the guards and make my way through the place...

Stay tuned for more from me... and if you like this video, or any others please subscribe to the channel for more timely updates.

Everquest II Review

Everquest II is the first game that I have decided to review on my new Tigerstudios Reviews channel.  This game was chosen because I have a lot of experience with it and also Sony Online Entainment recently made this game completely free to play.

Everquest II has been around since 2004 and follows the great success of Everquest 1, which still to this day is going strong.  But this review is about Eq2 so I will keep focused on that.

The review process I decided to go with is as follows: I will score a game on 5 categories:

  1. Fun Factor
  2. Content
  3. Gameplay
  4. Audio / Video
  5. Replay Value
Fun factor I rate Everquest 2 a 6 out of 10.  The reason I rated this somewhat low is because as good as I find Everquest, there isn't a whole lot that stands out as "fun" for me.  It's not bad, and with grouping and raiding I would rate the fun factor higher, but playing solo I feel that 6 is a fair score.

Content Everquest 2 has a TON of content.  I would rate this high, however with a basic bronze account a lot of the content is limited and therefore I give this a rating of 7 out of 10.  If I was rating the Silver Membership option I would give it a 8.5 and a 9.5 for Gold Membership.  This game has a lot to do in it, and will keep a player busy and discovering new items and land for a long time.

Gameplay I consider gameplay in Everquest to be quite good.  This is an easy game to get into and the interface is quite intuitive.  I give this a rating of 8 out of 10.

Audio / Visual This game has pretty impressive graphics and sound considering how long it has been around.  If I were to compare to more recent games I would say it's a little dated looking, however still really nice.  I give a 8 out of 10 for this category. The sound is also quite good.  The music is engaging and sound effects are of high quality.

Replay Value This is a game that you can spend a lot of time playing. I would say that the replay value is high due to the character options and different questline paths you can choose along the way.  I give this a 9 out of 10 for replayability.

This game is a game that you can end up sinking a lot of time into.  It's quite a large mmorpg and as such there are a ot of things you can do to advance your character, which takes time to master.

My overall rating for this game given all the above factors is 7.6/10
I recommend this game to anyone that likes mmo's.  However, I do highly recommend upgrading to the Silver Membership.  For the one time cost of $10 I think that is very well worth the investment.

For my video review of this game play see my Youtube channel: TigerstudiosReviews.  A direct link to the Everquest II playlist is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO9UGkBAZTE&list=PL9EF14DFF7CFA2809

Thanks for reading my first review, please let me know what you think and if you have any questions about my channel or Everquest just let me know.

Thanks,

Michael

Christmas Eve...

Well folks,
It's here again.  Christmas.  I hope everyone out there is having a good day and looking forward to tomorrow morning : )

I think I will spend time with my fiance, Frances and play some games online with friends.  I'm lucky to have the friends that I do.  I worked hard to build up a Minecraft community over a year ago, and since then it has gone from community to a second family.

I am currently rendering a video, "Happy Holidays" message, when I get this video up I will send out a tweet : )

Also, I haven't forgotten about my Everquest II game review.  I will be working on that today.  I need some ideas for the next game I will be reviewing.  I'll look into that over the next few days.

So, I think I will be busy over the next few days... I will be playing Fable III, Skyrim, and Everquest II!

Happy Holidays everyone,

Michael

Introduction

Welcome to my new blog.  My name is Michael and I enjoy playing all types of games.  I decided to share my game playing with YouTube and built up a bit of a following :)  I really enjoy playing games and making videos as I play.  Lately I have been becoming more interested in Video Editing and I'll be hopefully able to make my videos more professional and entertaining.

I have been playing a lot of Skyrim lately and really enjoy working on my Let's Play series. If anyone is interested you can check it out here:
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL5A138D6CED3B31D5  Skyrim is a really awesome game and it's been sucking a lot of my time.

I typically don't use a lot of mods when I play, but I do keep my eye on what's out there and try mods that look  really interesting.  I'll be making a video soon to show the top mods I like so far.

As for this blog, I will be reviewing games and writing up game reviews based on my YouTube channel:

Well, check out my videos if you like, I'm going to play some games for the night and will be doing some videos tomorrow...

Take care,

Michael
